4.2 Mount the leakage sensor on the pump
► Screw the supplied threaded connection piece into the pump
head ( → Fig. 3, item 1). If there is no thread on the pump
head, the expansion bushing with the slot side must first be
inserted ( → Fig. 3, item 1a).
► Connect the leakage sensor and threaded connection to
the hose (scope of delivery → Fig. 3, item 2). Use hose clips
supplied for fastening (scope of supply → Fig. 3, item 3).

The leakage liquid must be collected at the end of the
leakage sensor. Use a hose with an inner diameter of 9 mm.

Carefully read the operating instructions of motor and pump
tube.

Drive of the pump is switched off
►
Connect the SafetyBox to the power supply using the power
supply cable ( → Fig.4, item 1).
► There is a socket on the SafetyBox ( → Fig. 4, item 2) to
switch off the pump drive in the event of leakage. For electric
drives, a motor with low-voltage release is recommended
to prevent uncontrolled restarting. A solenoid valve for
controlling the motor can be connected to the socket of a
compressed air drive.
