The Emulator module comes with a male
IEPconnection(InfiniteExpandability
Port).Priortostart-up,firstensureallthe
toggleswitchesforthe“ModuleAlarms”
and“LampAlarm”areintheOFF(toggle
up)position.PlugtheEmulatorconnector
intotheIEPontheBLACKCOMB/HO
controller,thenpluginthecontroller
powercord.
ToEmulateaparticularmodulefailure,
togglethecorrespondingswitchtothe
ON(toggledown)position.Thealarm
can be cleared by returning the switch to
itsOFF(toggleup)position.Thedevice
alsocanemulatetheUVintensityreportedbyaUVsensormodule.Turningtheright“UV”
knobintheclockwisedirectionwillincreasetheintensity,whileturningitcounterclockwisewill
decreasetheintensity.Pleasenotethattoseeallthecapabilitiesofthesensor,youwillneed
tocycletheintensitythroughtherangeof49through66%.The“DaysRemaining”cyclecan
alsobeadjustedbyturningtheleft“Days”knob.Theemulatormodulemustonlybesupplied
atSELV.
