Close Below: The contact closes (switches to ground), if the temperature falls below the
entered value in the “SP1“ box. If the temperature exceeds that, value plus the
hysteresis the contact opens (a hysteresis between 2 and 20°C can be set to
avoid oscillating of the switch in the switch point).
When the ISR 320 is used in ratio mode, the limit switch can be used for the “dirty window”
function, the switch off, or the switch contact.
When in ratio mode and
Close at dirty window is selected, the contact will close if the signal
intensity falls below the set warning threshold. The contact will open again if the signal
intensity exceeds the set warning threshold. To avoid oscillating of the switch, the signal must
be higher than the warning threshold for, at a minimum, 100 ms. The green LED on the backside
of the instrument will blink if the signal intensity falls below the set warning threshold.
When in ratio mode and Close of switch off is selected, the contact will close if the signal
intensity falls below the set Switch-off threshold. The contact will open again if the signal
intensity exceeds the Switch-off threshold. To avoid oscillating of the switch, the signal must be
lower than the Switch-off threshold for, at a minimim, 100 ms.
When “Switch-off” is active the “dirty window” function becomes inactive.
