Configuring the Module
This window contains:
~
The Port Configuration page, which lets you do the following:
•
Select and apply port settings
•
View port statistics, which display line errors and coding violations
~
The Channel Configuration page, which lets you do the following:
•
Select and apply an interface
•
Open the Interface Configuration window to configure the interface
•
Channel Configuration panel for entering the interface type and dis-
playing the operational status, connection and service type, silence
suppression, echo cancellation, voice suppression, companding law,
and AAL Encapsulation. Once the interface is selected and applied,
interface parameters can be in the Interface Parameters window.
Note:
All interfaces must be out of service before changes can be made to
the port settings; otherwise, the Apply button will appear to be
ghosted.
The buttons on this window have the following functions:
