Bring Into Service

Displays when the Administrative Status field is
OutOfService. Brings an out-of-service config-
ured interface to in-service status. The value
InService appears in the Administrative Status
field.

You must first configure the interface before
you can use this button.

Take Out of Service

Displays when the Administrative Status field is
InService. Takes an in-service configured inter-
face to out-of-service status. The value
OutOfService appears in the Administrative
Status field.

You must use this button first before clicking the
Delete.

Delete

Deletes an out-of-service interface and redis-
plays the Port and Channel Configuration win-
dow for the module you are configuring.

You must first take interface out of service (by
clicking Take Out of Service) before you can
use this button.
