Appendix A contains the following specifications for the GRF 400 and 1600 routers:

General specifications

Configuration information is stored in non-volatile memory. When the GRF is turned off,
configuration data is not lost.

Note:

Use a protected AC power source, or add surge protection between the power source

and the GRF chassis.
