: The exam of channels, scrollers and spots (for example

) is very used
to exam the result of these range modifications.
THE SPOTS IN MEMORIES & GROUPS
A memory or group can have channels and/or scrollers and/or spots parameters. It’s possible to
store in a memory one spot parameter, several or all the spot parameters.
The spot parameters that are in scene in
tracking
mode or controlled by some playback, affect to
the scene but they are not included in the memory (or group) if they are not in the editor (red or
light red). This characteristic permits us to store the memories (or groups) in several modes,
depending of the result that we want to obtain. Some examples:
Starting with an empty editor. Select the spot 1, edit its
Dimmer
and
X
&
Y
parameters pressing:
RST SPOT 1 @@
TB.
From here, there are several possibilities:
•
Store the next memory pressing
REC
. This memory only has the
X
,
Y
and
Dimmer
parameters of the spot 1. When this memory is executed from a master or crossfade,
only
the
Dimmer
,
X
and
Y
parameters are controlled, and this memory never changes the color,
the gobo, etc, of the spot 1.
This mode is very used to store memories that will be executed sequentially, storing only the
changes from current memory to the next memory.
•
Store the next memory including the current values in scene of the color, gobo, etc, of the
spot 1, pressing
PARAM CALL REC
. When this memory is executed from a master or
crossfade,
all the spot parameters
are controlled.
This mode is very interesting for the first memory of a crossfaders, o when the memory will
be executed in a master to set a whole scene.
