The commands permit us to execute several playbacks simultaneously, to control external devices
(slides, video, music, etc)…
THE MDFY MDFY FUNCTION in CROSSFADERS
When it’s necessary to modify some of the crossfade memories, it’s possible to do this
modification following the conventional method (
MEM # MDFY
), or using the crossfade
specific methods:
To modify the scene memory (
X1
) adding the editor modifications:
•
Take care that
X1
is at 100% (FF).
•
From the
Stage
editor modify channels, scrollers and parameters.
•
And store these modifications in the
X1
memory pressing
MDFY MDFY
The editor content is added in the
X1
memory and then the editor is emptied. If
X1
is
empty or is not at 100%, the editor content, if it’s possible, will be added to the
Y1
memory.
In resume:
{ Stage editor} MDFY MDFY
To modify the next memory (
X2
) adding the editor modification:
•
Take care that
X2
is at 0% (00).
•
From the
Blind
editor modify channels, scrollers and parameters.
•
And store these modifications in the
X2
memory pressing
MDFY MDFY
The editor content is added in the
X2
memory and then the editor is emptied. If
X2
is
empty or is not at 0%, the editor content, if it’s possible, will be added to the
Y2
memory.
When the next crossfade is started, the
X2
memory fades in scene with the last modifications.
Note that these modifications have been done in
Blind
.

NOTE: These commands are not available for the sequences loaded in masters.
THE OUTPUT of CROSSFADERS
As the same way that for the masters, it’s possible to select and call the outputs of the
crossfaders:
To select the channels, scrollers and parameters (without level) of the crossfade output, press:
SELECT ASSIGNX
To call the channels, scrollers and parameters with level/values of the crossfade output, press:
CALL ASSIGNX
