3. Set the type of regeneration:
Press the button DOWN to set the type of regeneration:
· A-01 = Volumetric down-flow regeneration
· A-03 = Intelligent volumetric down-flow regeneration
· A-11 = Up-flow volumetric regeneration
· A-13 = Intelligent volumetric up-flow regeneration
To change it press the button “Menu/confirm”. Press UP and DOWN to choose the type of regeneration and
confirm your choice with “Menu/confirm”.
5. Set the water volume to be treated:
In this section, there are two differents choice, according to the option choose in section 3:
Set for water volume m

, gallons o liters (options A-01, A-11).
You can change this number using UP and DOWN. Press “Menu/confirm” to set the decimals. Change the
number using the keys UP and DOWN and confirm with “Menu/confim”.
Look up the value to enter in table 1 bellow.
A: resine amount (liters)
B: French degrees hardness (ºF)
4. Set backwash interval F-00:
This option is only available just if you choose (A-11, A-13).
Press the button DOWN. The screen will show the program 1, wich corresponds to the backwash interval,
that is, the number of regenerations in which the valve does not make a backwash. For up flow valves is not
necessary to perform a backwash in each regeneration. To adjust, press “Menu/confirm” and change the
value with UP and DOWN until the desired value. Press “Menu/confirm” to confirm.
F-00: There will be a backwash in each regeneration.
F-01: It means 1 regenerations without backwash.
