Face Level Vents

Face level vents are positioned in the

center top and outboard of the fascia on

both sides. Each vent may be opened or

closed and rotated manually through

360°.

Temperature Control

Fan Speed

Air Re-circulation

The fresh air intake is normally open to pro-

vide fresh airflow into the vehicle cabin, but it

may be desired to close it to prevent external

fumes produced by other vehicles etc from

being drawn into the cabin.

- To close: Press the

switch.

- To open: Press the

switch again.

The fresh air intake will remain in the posi-

tion last set by the switch even if the

ignition is turned off. The current status of

the is indicated by the button illumina-

tion; backlit white if off (open), brightly lit red

if on (closed). This option should, however,

be used sparingly to avoid stuffiness in the

cockpit.

A pollen filter is fitted at the cabin air in

take and should be renewed by your dealer

at intervals specified in the Maintenance

Schedule.

Air Conditioning

With the switch depressed and a fully cold

temperature setting selected, refrigerated

air will be supplied if the following condi-

tions are met:

- The engine is running;

- A fan speed is selected;

- Ambient temperature is above 26°F

(-3°C).
