By turning the graduated thermostat knob (fig. B pos.1) from 100°C to 180°C gas flows to the main burner and it
ignites.
The green indicator (fig. B pos.2) stays alight and indicates mains voltage downstream from the switch (see wiring
diagram fig. F), the white indicator (fig. B pos.3) indicates that the main burners are working and will stay alight until
the set temperature is reached after which the pilot light stays on (fig. D)
Turning the main burner off
Turn the graduated thermostat knob (fig. B pos.1) round to position “0”; only the pilot burner flame stays alight (fig. D)
Turning the appliance off
Press and turn the valve knob (fig. B pos.8)
round to position “O”. This command stops gas reaching both the main
burner and the pilot burner.
SAFETY THERMOSTAT
The appliance is provided with a safety thermostat which interrupts the gas flow if the temperature of the oil goes above
the maximum set value (230°C). When the safety device intervenes, both the main burner and pilot burner go out.
If this happens, it is possible to restart by pressing down fully the red thermostat button after having removed the
control panel. If the problem occurs again, call in the after sales assistance.
EMPTYING THE CONTAINER
To carry out this operation, it is necessary to open the outlet tap which can only be reached through the cabinet door
situated below. Before doing this, check that the filter and the oil collecting container are in the correct position.
NB: It is advisable not to do this when the oil is too hot.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR DISCHARGING GAS EMISSIONS
Type “A” Appliances (see data plate)
Type “A” appliances must discharge the products of combustion into extractor hoods or similar devices connected to
and efficent chimney, or directly outside. (Natural Discharge Fig.1)
If there is not a hood, as an alternative, an air extractor connected directly to the outside is acceptable, (Forced
Discharge Fig.2) but its capacity must not be inferior to what is established in item 4.3 of the UNI-CIG norm 8723.
In the event of forced discharge
The gas supply the the appliance, must be directly interlocked to the system and must cut off automatically in the event
that its capacity goes below the values prescribed by item 4.3 of the UNI-CIG norm 8723.
The release of gas to the appliance must be possible only manually.
