Basic Setup

Step 3: Connect the Ethernet Cable

• Connect an ethernet cable (included) to the

ETHERNET

port on the rear panel of the DVR.

Connect the other end of the ethernet cable to a router on your network.

Connect ethernet cable

Step 4: Connect the Monitor

• Connect a HDMI cable (included) from the

HDMI

port to the TV or monitor (recommended)

• Connect a VGA cable (not included) from the

VGA

port to the monitor.

NOTE:

The DVR cannot use an HDMI and VGA monitor at the same time.

NOTE:

If you have a monitor with a DVI input, you must use an HDMI to DVI adapter (not included).

You cannot use an DVI to VGA adapter.
