How to configure basic firewall features:
Firewalls come in many forms, from software based, such as Windows XP’s built in firewall
and Zone Alarm’s free personal firewall, to hardware based firewalls. As such, it is beyond
the scope of CoreVideo to advise you which firewall product to use and how each product
is to be configured.
The DVS software is Internet ready and the video from the local (host) site can be
transmitted over the internet to a remote system. As you read above, there are two
methods provided to enable this connection: Remote Fixed IP and Remote Yellow Pages
entry.
By default, the DVS software utilized IP Port 85, however, this IP Port number is
changeable if the user desires.
To change the IP port, you will need to modify settings on the local (host) system as well as
the remote system.

the camera entry that is currently in use or that will be used.
