Follow the steps below to properly fit a brush to the han-
dle:
Â
Connect the adapter to the handle.
Use the mounting pins for this purpose.
Â
Tighten the adapter so that the pins bend slightly.
The pins are soft annealed so that you can generate the
correct tightening torque.
Â
Connect the brush to the adapter.
Â
Use an open-end spanner WAF 10 and a mounting pin.
Â
Tighten the brush properly.
Â
Thread the PTFE sleeve over the brush and carefully screw
it onto the adapter.
Only loosen the screw connections when re-
placing the components! The individual parts
do not have to be cleaned.
With every loosening, electrolyte might be car-
ried away into one of the threads. This leads to
oxidation and contact problems!
Always make sure that the components are
mounted correctly.
To loosen the brush, you can use a normal
open-ended spanner WAF 10 and e.g. a Phillips
screwdriver or 4 mm Allen key as the assembly
pins may be too soft to loosen the screw con-
nections.
Make sure that the carbon fibre brush is
screwed on tightly. A loose screw connection
can smoulder and damage the thread.
–
The PTFE insulation must be present on
the inner part; otherwise, the high currents
could cause shunts with the workpiece.

Adjusting the PTFE sleeve
During the cleaning process, the carbon fibre tips of the car-
bon fibre brush wear out.
5 - 10 mm
With the PTFE sleeve, you can compensate for the wear of the
carbon fibres.
Â
Adjust the PTFE sleeve on the carbon fibre brush so that
the carbon fibre tips protrude approx. 5-10 mm.
9
Only in this way can as many arcs as possible form between
the carbon fibre ends and the workpiece! This guarantees
an optimum cleaning effect.

Electrolyte
Follow our operating instructions exactly when
using the electrolytes.
Observe all safety regulations.
Using the electrolyte
Only use the electrolyte supplied.
Â
Unscrew the cap of the electrolyte bottle.
Â
Fill the supplied wide-neck container with electrolyte up
to the first mark.
Â
Close the storage bottle before continuing to work!
The wide-mouth container or bottle can tip
over due to the weight of the handle or if the
supply line is accidentally pulled.
Electrolyte can leak out!
Never fill the wide-mouth container complete-
ly.
Be careful not to leave the brush in the con-
tainer.
Information on non-toxicity
We only use non-toxic mineral acid as cleaning electrolytes.
Our electrolytes are also used as acidifiers and preservatives
in foods in low concentrations, for example, in cola as acidifier
E338.
We hereby confirm that our Cleaner and Polisher cleaning
electrolytes are non-toxic!
Information on the scope of delivery
We supply cleaning electrolyte in 1000 ml, UN-approved haz-
ardous goods bottles.
Our containers are fitted with safety closures and are sealed in
a leak-proof manner until opened.
