Automatic circuit breaker (Overload FUSE)
The unit is equipped with an automatic circuit breaker.
In case of overload or electrical short-circuit, the automatic
circuit breaker interrupts the circuit.

Drücken Sie den Sicherungsknopf
zum Aktivieren wieder in das Gehäuse.
Wait a moment until the fuse has cooled down.
Before activating the safety button:
–
the unit must be switched off.
–
the brush must not have any contact with
the workpiece or the ground.
If the fuse blows again, check your operation!

Dip and cool the brush more often and longer!
–
Do not press the brush too hard on the workpiece!

Safety measures in the event of
an incident
Switch off the unit immediately and disconnect
the mains plug.
Secure and label the unit against being
switched on again.
–
Restore the full functionality of the unit after
each repair.
–
Inspect cables for damage.
–
Check all safety devices for proper function.
If electrolyte liquid gets into the eyes, rinse the
eyes immediately with plenty of water.
–
Visit the ophthalmologist immediately.
Secure heated workpieces against unauthor-
ised access.

Always disconnect the mains plug before
starting maintenance, servicing and repair
work!
The following maintenance work may be carried out by
the operator of the unit himself:

All cleaning work on the accessories

Replacement of wear parts
The following maintenance work may only be carried out
by a qualified electrician:

Replace the defective mains plug

Replace the defective mains cables
–
Replace or repair all components in the device hous-
ing

Repair the handle, earth clamp, cable

Inspection and maintenance plan
Maintenance of the unit consists of thorough cleaning and
inspection by a qualified electrician.
The frequency depends on the degree of soiling.
Observe the suggested maintenance intervals.
Disconnect the unit from the mains (pull out the mains
plug) before starting inspection or maintenance work.
Remove dust deposits with a hoover.
Wipe the components with a dry cloth.
Only use degreasing agents that are suitable for electrical
devices.
Follow the instructions for cleaning the device and acces-
sories.
