Checks before each start of work

Check all live cables and wires for damage to the insula-
tion.
Â
Check all live cables and wires for breaks and kinks in the
strands within the insulation.
Â
Check all plugs and plug connections for damage.
Â
Check all switches for damage, e.g. chipped housing parts.
Â
Check the earth terminal for external damage.
Â
Whether all accessible insulation is present and undam-
aged.
Â
Make sure that you do not pull or lay any electrical cables
over sharp edges.
Â
Your workplace must be freely accessible.
Â
Make sure that there are no trip hazards.

Use the carbon fibre brush supplied to clean welds.
The carbon fibre brush consists of the following compo-
nents:
Single carbon fibres (1)

at the ends of which the arcs important for cleaning
