3.  Use the cleaning tool to scrape away hardened clinkers or buildup on the burn platform. Use the narrow 

tip to clear any plugged holes. The burn platform must be free from buildup for the pellets to burn 
completely. 

   

 

4.  Brush away flyash around the burn platform using the brush included with the stove. The flyash will 

fall into the ashpan below.

Remove the wedge that locks the burn platform in place.  If the wedge is difficult to dislodge, use the 
cleaning tool to rock the wedge left to right. 
NOTE: An extra wedge is included with the heater in case the original is mis-placed.
