IMPORTANT:
DHC is ideal location of hopper. Placing
fore or aft of this point will reduce capacity.
NOTE:
If any modifications to the truck need to be made
to accommodate the tender hopper, consult
the truck manufacturer and/or its dealer for
instructions to safely modify the truck/chassis.
Modifications should be made before attempting
to mount the tender hopper.
Securing Hopper

Secure tender to the truck frame using the body mount
u-bolts.
Refer to truck manufacturer for ideal u-bolt locations.
Approximate locations (1) are shown in illustration above.
There are eight total u-bolts. Use four on each side to
secure the tender to the chassis. The four u-bolts toward
the front will use the provided springs. The springs are to
allow twist between the tender and the truck frame.
Compress springs to 4.25 in. length.
