Replacing and Installing a New Elevation Motor
Repair Instructions
Step 4.)
Cut all the zip ties holding the wires together and
then CAREFULLY remove the Yoke Assembly off of the Davit
Assembly and set it aside.
Step 5.)
Turn your control panel on, and adjust your
elevation so that the motor spring pin in is its most vertical
position (
A
).
Turn the power off and unplug the Elevation
motor from the elevation tab (J24).
Elevation Pin location (Vertical).

Removing The Elevation Link and Installing The new
Elevation Motor.
Step 1.)
Put the pin punch (1/8”) over the motor spring pin
hole and lightly tap until you get the motor spring pin to
“pop” out of the bottom hole. (*
Make sure you save the
spring pin
)
Step 2.)
Slide the Elevation link toward you off of the
elevation motor, and proceed to unscrew the 4 screws
holding the motor to the Davit Center.
Step 3.)
Once the old motor is removed, take the new
motor and line up the 4 screw holes and the motor shaft in
the center 1/2” hole. Take 4 motor screws previously
removed, and securely fasten the new motor to the Davit
Center.
