3 Intended Use (Stand-alone Version, Version for Image 3 and
Version for Eleganza 2)
The SafeSense® 3 Monitoring System is intended to use for the automated, contactless and unobtrusive continuous
mobility detection of patients in bed, bed exit and continuous wetness detection in the context of healthcare and nursing
facilities.
3.1 User population
► Not specific. Indication is limited by limitation of hospital/nursing bed patients (weight ≥ 40 kg and ≤ 180kg , height >= 146
cm, BMI >= 17)
► Caregivers (nurses, doctors, technical personnel, transport personnel, cleaning personnel)
3.2 Contraindications
► Patients in whom proper positioning cannot be achieved or maintained.
► Patients who do not meet the weight limits tested or specified.
► An explosive atmosphere or in the presence of flammable anesthetics or gases.
3.3 Operator
► Health care professional (nurses, doctors)
