10. METHODS OF CLEANING:
10.1 Mechanical - chemical cleaning
In the
mechanical-chemical
cleaning the foam ball is pushed trough together with a chemical
solution. It is also possible to switch the flow direction of the sanitizing solution in the circuit
using the four-way valve (whch is controlled mechanically).
WARNING:
The sanitizing machine must be switched off before each change of flow
direction.
10.2 Chemical cleaning
This can be repeated (we recommend to repeat for 10-25 min.) until the beer line is entirely
clear.
When
chemical cleaning
(only with a chemical solution), the process is the same, only without
the use of sanitizing ball.
Sanitizing can be done by alkaline or acidic chemical solution. Normaly, use the
alkaline sanitizing solution occasionaly use an acidic sanitizing solution.
Concentrations of chemical sanitizing solutions should correspond to the manu-
facturer´s recommendations. Using the higher concentrations may lead to incra-
sed foaming and thereby to reduction of the cleaning effect.
11. SANITIZING PROCEDURE:
1. Connect the SP PROFI sanitizing machine according to the diagram in point 15.
2. Connect the SP PROFI sanitizing machine to the el. mains (220 - 240 V 50Hz ~ 1) and switch
on the machine using the main switch. Let the line rinse with clean water for 1-2 minutes.
Then switch off the device.
WARNING:
The sanitizing machine must not be operated „dry“. The suction basket must be
immersed in a container of water.
4. Switch on the SP PROFI sanitizing machine with the main switch. The sanitizing ball pushes
clean water out of the system and at the same time the beverage line is filled with saniti-
zing solution. Let the sanitizing ball cycle in both directions. At the end of the sanitizing
time by sanitizing solution, switch off the machine again with the main switch and place
the suction basket in a container with clean water.
3. Unscrew the beverage line connected to the suction and
insert the sanitizing ball. Reconnect the wiring and place
the suction basket in the sanitizing container.
WARNING:
The maximum water temperature must not
exceed 25 ° C.
WARNING:
Cooling must always be switched off during cleaning process.
