Steering Wheel Audio and Media Controls

The 4-way control allows you to adjust the
steering wheel to your desired position.

Adaptive Cruise Control
*
In addition to cruise control, your vehicle may
also include adaptive cruise control. The system
adjusts your speed to maintain a set distance
between your vehicle and the vehicle in front of
you in the same lane. You can select one of four
gap settings by pressing the and controls on
the steering wheel. See page 11 of this guide for
more details.

Driving aids do not replace the need to
watch where the vehicle is moving and brake
where necessary. Refer to the

Owner’s Manual
for safety
information, more details and limitations.

Left Vehicle Info Display
Use the steering wheel controls to navigate to
various screens.
The Display/Trip Mode
provides hybrid-specific
information through the following screens:
° Engage
° Empower
° MyView
° Trip
1 & 2
MyView
lets you choose what information you
wish to display. Select
Change MyView
in the
Options
menu to scroll through the content and
make your selections.
Brake Coach
appears after the vehicle
comes to a stop. It coaches you to maximize
the amount of energy that can be returned
through the regenerative braking system.
The displayed percentage indicates your
braking efficiency, with 100% representing the
maximum amount of energy recovery. You
can switch this feature ON and OFF in the
information display.

Service Engine Soon Light
Lights briefly when you switch on the
ignition. If it remains on or is blinking after you
start the engine, the On-Board Diagnostics
(OBD-II) system has detected a problem. Drive in
a moderate fashion and contact your authorized
dealer as soon as possible.

Push Button Start
Allows you to start your vehicle by pressing the
START STOP
button while fully pressing down on
the brake pedal. Press the button again to switch
off the engine.
Note:
Your intelligent access key must be inside
the vehicle for the vehicle to start.

Push Button Shift Transmission
The transmission shift buttons are on the
instrument panel, next to the touchscreen.
Press the brake pedal down and press one of
the
PRNDL
buttons to select a gear. The button
you select illuminates and the instrument cluster
shows the selected gear.
Note:
When entering an automatic car wash, always
put your vehicle into
Stay in Neutral
mode:
A.
Press the neutral (N) button once. The
information display reads
“Press N Again
to Enter Stay in Neutral mode”
.
B.
Press the neutral (N) button again. The
message
“Stay in Neutral mode engaged”
appears in the information display and the
neutral (N) button flashes continuously to
confirm your selection.
To exit
Stay in Neutral
mode, press another gear.

Auto Hold
Auto hold uses your vehicle’s brakes to hold
the vehicle stationary and prevent it from rolling
after you come to a stop. When your vehicle
is stopped, press the
AUTO HOLD
button to
switch the system on and take your foot off the
brake pedal. When the system is on and active,
the
AUTO HOLD
indicator light appears in the
instrument cluster, and your vehicle remains
stationary until you press the accelerator pedal.
Auto hold turns off automatically when you power
down your vehicle. See the
Brakes
chapter in
your
Owner’s Manual
for more information.
