Display ID Extension

The

Display ID is defined by a VESA standard as part of the EDID structure.

The Advanced EDID

editor gets a Display ID section where additional metadata is stored for the video sources about the display

capabilities.

INFO: EDID has only 11 bit for active resolution dimensions, it means that the maximum pixel number is 4095.

DisplayID extension supports high resolution displays and tile mode. This interface provides the easy and

user-friendly input of the Display ID information.
