How To’s

Engage™ and Inspire™ Consoles

M051-00K70-B111

REPLACEMENT OF OvERLAy AND BEZEL ASSEMBLy

1. 

remove the LCD console from the base unit by removing and 

saving the four screws that secure the console to the console 

support bracket. 

2. 

Disconnect the cabling from the base unit to the console. 

3. 

remove and save the six Phillips screws that secure the rear 

console case to the overlay/bezel assembly. 

4. 

remove and save the four Phillips screws (

shown in the illustration

that secure the PCB Mounting bracket assembly to the overlay/

bezel assembly. 

5. 

Tread only: disconnect green wire from the rear plastic to ESD PCB.

6. 

Inspire

TM

 Consoles only: disconnect the keypad’s tails from MIB.

7. 

Cut cable tie that secures the internal iPod

®

 cable to the plastic.

8. 

Disconnect the USB, headphones, and iPod

®

 cables from the option 

panel assembly.

9.  Install the new overlay/bezel assembly in reverse order using the 

hardware removed and saved in previous steps. 

REPLACEMENT OF 7-SEGMENT DATA DISPLAy BOARD (I-CONSOLES)

1.  Remove the rear console case. 
2. 

remove the overlay/bezel assembly. 

3. 

remove and save the four Phillips screws (

shown in the illustration

that secure the data display PCB to the PC mounting bracket. 

4. 

Disconnect any cables as required. 

5. 

re-use the spacers from the old Data Display PCB on the 

 

new Data Display PCB

6.  Install the new Data Display PCB in reverse order using the 

 

hardware removed and saved in the previous steps.
