Tightening torque: 8

Unscrew the fixing bolt of starter motor and idler cover. Remove the starter

motor and idler cover. Check the O-ring for wear. Replace it if necessary.

Check the dual-gear for wear. Replace the gear if there’s pit or tooth

breakage.

Disconnect the magneto wire leads. Remove the left crankcase cover.
