After a device is selected, select the Port number in the drop down field that the USB to RS232 is
connected to on the computer. Typically this will default when starting the software after the serial
COM connection has been made.
Enter in the baud rate for the wall plate transmitter in the BAUD RATE field and click CONNECT . The
default baud rate for the wall plate transmitter can be found in the transmitters owners manual.
If you are successfully connected to the unit, a green light will appear next the Connect button which
will now read DISCONNECT .
To obtain current RS232 settings you can click the GET CURRENT SETTINGS button.
