5. IR Remote Sensor Installation & Operation
• Install the IR remote sensor about 6 f
eet above the floor in an area with good air circulation at an a
ver
age temperature
.
Do not install the IR remote sensor where it can be aff
ected by:
- Drafts
, or dead spots behind doors and in corners
.
- Hot or cold air from ducts.
- Radiant heat from sun or appliances.
- Concealed pipes and chimneys
.
- Uncontrolled areas such as an outside wall
behind the remote controller.
- This IR remote sensor is equipped with
LED display and ON/OFF b
utton. F

display of the IR remote sensor
The IR remote sensor should be installed
properly as sho
wn in Fig.1.
(The standard height is 6 feet from floor
level.)
