Part 4 Trouble Shooting Guide
7.3.3 Error code 04
Discription
Heat-sink Temp. is over 95°C.
Heat-sink TH.(Thermistor) is open or short.
• Heat-sink TH. is damaged (short or open).
• Heat-sink Temp. is over 95°C
• Damage or defect on the sensing circuit of outdoor unit PCB assembly. (R01H, R02H, C01H)
Supposed
Causes
Yes
No
Heat-sink TH is connected to
outdoor PCB assembly?
* Connect to CN-TH2 in outdoor
unit PCB assembly
Heat-sink TH. in INV-IC
(or PCB) is operating properly?
Yes
No
Sensing circuit of outdoor
unit PCB is operating properly?
Yes
No
* Check heat-sink TH.
- Measure resistance of TH.
(about 10k
Ω
at 25
°
C)
- If it is not, replace the thermistor.
* Check soldering state of R01H,
R02H, C01H
* If it is broken, replace outdoor unit PCB
* If Air circulation is poor, this error
may be caused.
* It’s normal to protect the component
in very poor air circulation.
Be sure to disconnect the power cable plug from the plug socket before disassembling the
equipment for a repair. Internal components and circuit boards are at main potential when the
equipment is connected to the power cables. This voltage is extremely dangerous and may
cause death or severe injury if come in contact with it.
Be sure to turn off power switch before connect or disconnect connector, or parts damage may
be occurred.
