IMAGE STICKING MINIMIZATION (ISM) METHOD
A frozen or still picture displayed on the screen for prolonged periods will result in a ghost image remaining
even when you change the image. Avoid allowing a fixed image to remain on the screen for prolonged periods.

An excessive ghosted image may be impossible to
clear entirely with White Wash. To return to nor-
mal viewing, press the any button.

N No orrm maall: If image sticking is never a
problem, ISM is not necessary - set to
Normal.
■
O O rr b b ii tt ee rr: Orbiter may help prevent
ghost images. However, it is best not to
allow any fixed image to remain on the
screen. To avoid a ghost image on the
screen, the image will move every 2 min-
utes.

C Co ollo orr W Waassh h: Inversion will automatical-
ly invert the plasma display panel color
every 30 minutes.

W W h h ii tt ee W W aa ss h h: White Wash removes
ghost images from the screen. Use spar-
ingly. Watch the TV normally for a while
before using this feature to see if the
ghost image disappears on its own.
