I. Installer must ensure the RESU has been registered at:
https://form.jotform.com/RESU_registrations/RESU_Product_Registration
i. the LG Chem certified installer should register the RESU
ii. Include images of:
•
RESU Product label with S/N
•
Conduit & cable terminations
•
Installation area including peripheral equipment
•
SolarEdge label and S/N
II. Call/email SolarEdge Customer Support: 510.498.3200 or
ussupport@solaredge.com
•
Select option 2 at the voice prompt for the support team
•
Select option 3 at the support to be directed to the SE Support team most
familiar with SE/RESU
•
Always retain the SolarEdge Case number for future reference
III. Once SE support team has confirmed inverter troubleshooting
exhausted:

LG Chem will reach out for RESU troubleshooting and provide RMA number if
needed
•
RMA’d RESUs should be sent to:
1064 Chicago Rd, Troy, MI 48083, USA

Pack the RESU in the original packaging for easier return shipping
•
Coordinate return shipping with your distributor
•
S
hipping costs are the responsibly of the installer; once a warranty claim is
issued, your distributor will invoice LG Chem for a full refund. In order for
LG Chem to reimburse you, the transaction must take place with the
distributor.
•
LG Chem will confirm the issue diagnosis and if possible, refurbish and return
the RESU to the installer.
•
If refurbishing is not possible, LG Chem will process the RMA credit to the
distributor and distributor invoices LG Chem for all related shipping costs paid
by the installer.
