Purge Assem-
bly

• Left Connec-

tor Cable

• Logic Board

Be sure all the ink lines are connected.

With the purge assembly removed and laying on its
side, check the voltage on the contact straps. The
voltage should be +5 V dc with the contacts open.
As the contacts close, the voltage should drop to 0
V dc.

If the voltage is incorrect, check the continuity of the
left connector cable. If the continuity is incorrect,
replace the cables as needed. If the continuity is cor-
rect, replace the logic board. If you replace the logic
board, go to the

“Service Adjustment Mode” on page

and perform the print position adjustment, and

the direction offset adjustment.
