Printheads

1.

Remove the 

“Top Cover” on page 4-21

.

2.

Remove the printhead screw type 

“484” on page 4-9

 (B) through the holes (A) in 

the top of the rear printer frame.

3.

Remove the printhead mounting screw (A) from the front of the printhead assembly.

4.

Disconnect the printhead cables (B) from the printhead.

5.

Disconnect the mirror motor hysnc cable (C) from the engine board at connector J2.

6.

Remove the printhead.

Note:  Whenever a printhead is removed, it is necessary to perform all printhead 
adjustments. Go to 

“Printhead Adjustments” on page 4-1
