Fit the clamp hinge into the according sensor 
body grove and close the clamp. 

 

 

 

CAUTION 

Take  care  to  not  squeeze  the  fingers  during  the 
clamp-on process.  

 

 

 

CAUTION 

Assure  that  the  tube  is  not  squeezed  and  not  axially 
stretched during the clamp-on process. 

 

 

 

 

7. 

For a stable and repeatable measurement,  it is 
very important that the tube is properly clamped 
into the square shape of the transducer area of 
the  sensor.  Therefore,  check  that  the  sensor  is 
properly fitted into the square area and that the 
tubing is not squeezed somewhere.

After  starting  measurements  with  the  system 
with  liquid  temperature  different  from  ambient, 
or  if  the  liquid  temperature  changes  during 
operation,  full  signal  stability  is  reached  after 
about 

30 min

 

Do not squeeze the tube 
during the clamp-on 
procedure! 

A squeezed tube affects 
flow measurement!
