12.3. Deleting Submasters
To empty a single submaster, press [DELETE][S#]. The submaster’s LED turned will turn off.
To empty all submasters at the same time, press [DELETE][FL.MT].
12.4. Rate and Level Submasters
A submaster’s rate and/or level may be controlled by another submaster that has been configured as a rate
or level submaster.
For example, to configure a rate or level submaster:
1. Press [MDFY][FLMT][9] for rate or [10] for level.
2. Select the rate or level control submaster (X).
3. Select the submaster range (01-12) that the rate or level submaster will control.
12.5. Effects Submasters
The console has a maximum of 999 effects (chases) that can be loaded to submasters. An effect is ordered
in steps with each step programmed with channels, groups or cues (groups or cues must be pre-recorded).
12.5.1. Programming Effects
To program an effect, follow below:
1. Press [EFFECT][#][REC] or [EFFECT][REC] (for next effect).
2. Press [#][ENTER] (# is the effect type: 0:CHANNELS, 1:GROUPS, 2:CUES).
3. Press [OPTIONS] to edit the effect’s steps.
4. To edit steps, use the keypad and arrow keys: [#][ ].
5. To insert a step or add the next step, press [#][INSERT] or [INSERT].
6. To delete steps, press [DELETE].
7. Press [OPTIONS] to edit the effect’s general options (see below).
Effects General Options:
•
Text: Name of effect.
•
T : Fade time of effect (used for automatic start and stop).
•
StepT: Time of how long each step is active.
•
Dir (>, <, or ><): Direction of effect.
•
Attributes: Mode of execution (hard, soft, etc.) and pattern (normal, invert, build, random, etc.).
•
Cue: A cue can be assigned as static effect part (cue will be activated/deactivated with the effect).
•
EffecT: Total effect time (automatically calculated by the system).
•
Steps: Total number of steps (automatically calculated by the system).
