19. TROUBLESHOOTING
If the following solutions to your problems are not sufficient, please contact your retailer for
qualified technical assistance.
PROBLEM SOLUTION
There is no power supply • Check that the plug is connected to the mains.
The alarm is on • Check whether the power supply switches off suddenly
• Check that the CPR is insulated
• Check that there is a firm connection between the air tube
connector and the compressor unit
• Check that all tube connections along the mattress are firm
The patient touches the bottom • The pressure settings might be inadequate for the patient.
Adjust the comfort range to one or two levels higher and wait
several minutes until the greatest level of comfort is reached
The mattress is floppy • Check that all the snap fasteners and straps on the mattress are
properly attached.
• Check that the mattress is attached to the bed structure with
the straps
No air is coming out of several
openings on the air tube connector • This is normal when the device is being used in alternate mode.
The air outlets are activated alternately to produce air during
the cycle time
NOTE: If the pressure level always remains low, check for possible leaks. If necessary,
replace any damaged tubes or contact a local retailer qualified to carry out repairs.
