This panel permits the adjustmant of trigger modes as well as the behaviour of the digital
outputs of the VR 2300.

Trigger Defines the read mode. Free freely decodes. With this setting,
the camera image read will continuously be evaluated for
potential code information.
Trigger frame specifies that evalu-
ation of the camera image should only take place during a time
window. At the start of the window, the digital outputs (Code
read/Code not read) are reset. After a successful read or at the
end of the reading window, the result is presented at the
respective output.
Time frame decodes up to the time set
under Trigger Time has expired, beginning with the positive
flank of an external trigger signal. Image stream decodes a
number of images set under Image stream size beginning
with the positive flank of an external trigger. SW-only trigger
frame behaves like Trigger Frame , however, the trigger can
only be triggered via software commands. Furthermore, no
outputs (LEDs/digital outputs) are set and the serial code
output is suppressed. In the case of the first three triggered
