Communicating with the Device

Leuze electronic

Firmware->Update

Opens an input dialog for the selection of a new firmware
(*.bin file) and starts the update process. As the current
parameter set is overwritten and replaced by the default
parameters when a firmware update is performed, we recom-
mend that you save the parameters before the update proc-
ess. A notification window reminds you of this.

Serial Trigger->On

Activates a trigger window.

Serial Trigger->Off

Deactivates a trigger window.

Code->Output

Opens a window and displays the read codes (plus extended
information, if activated) in the window.

Help -> About

Output information about the setup tool’s version number and
the copyright.
