: To mimic a single left click on a mouse, tap anywhere on the touch pad once or press the
left click zone

Left click and drag
: To mimic a left click and drag on a mouse, do either of the following:
Tap anywhere on the touch pad twice and hold the nger on the touch pad, slide the same nger or
another nger on the touch pad, whichever is more convenient and then release the nger(s).
Press the left click zone

and hold the nger on the touch pad, slide another nger on the touch
pad, and then release both ngers.
Right click and drag
: To mimic a right click and drag on a mouse, press the right click zone

and hold
the nger on the touch pad, slide another nger on the touch pad, and release both ngers.
Using the multi-touch touch pad
The touch pad of your computer supports multi-touch with which you can zoom in, zoom out, scroll or rotate
on the screen while browsing the Internet or reading or editing a document.

Customizing the touch pad
To customize the touch pad, do as follows:

Device Settings pops up.

Manage Settings
to open the Mouse properties window.
3. Click the
UltraNav
tab and proceed to customizing the touch pad.

Disabling the UltraNav pointing device and using an external mouse
If you attach an external mouse to a USB connector, you can use the external mouse simultaneously with
the TrackPoint pointing device and the touch pad.
Disabling the TrackPoint or the touch pad
To disable the TrackPoint or the touch pad, do either of the following:

2. To disable the TrackPoint pointing device, clear the check box for
Enable TrackPoint
.
To disable the touch pad, clear the check box for
