Remove or disconnect the following components (if installed) one at a time.

External devices (modem, printer, or mouse)

Any adapters

Memory modules

Extended video memory

External Cache

External Cache RAM

Hard disk drive

Diskette drive

Turn on the computer to retest the system.

Repeat steps 1 through 3 until you find the failing device or adapter.

If all devices and adapters have been removed, and the problem continues, replace
the system board.

If the problem is solved when you remove an adapter from the computer but the
problem recurs when you reinstall the same adapter, suspect the adapter.

If the computer passes all the system tests, suspect a network cabling problem that
is external to the computer.
