Limitation on automated service requests (Call Home)
Because ThinkAgile SXM products are serviced and supported at the overall product level, it is
recommended that you not implement Call Home functionality for the components. If you choose to enable
Call Home, be aware that your entitlement might not be recognized immediately. See Chapter 9 “Working
with service and support” on page 27 for information about resolving issues.
Requirement for product-specific server motherboard
In order to meet functional requirements, ThinkAgile SXM products require a specific motherboard Field
Replaceable Unit for the server nodes and the HLH. When attempting to service the servers, be aware of the
following:
• Do not use common server motherboard spares.
• Always check the ThinkAgile SXM support information on the Web for the correct motherboard FRU part
number.

Problem isolation tips
The following items can help determine the cause of an issue:
• Can users log in to the Microsoft Azure Stack portals?
• Can users create VMs, Plans, Offers in Microsoft Azure Stack?
• Are all cluster nodes present and healthy in Lenovo XClarity Administrator?
• Are all storage volumes present and healthy?
• Can users ping and log in to Lenovo XClarity Administrator?
• Does Lenovo XClarity Administrator show any alerts or issues in the dashboard page?
• Do the firmware, software, and OS levels match the Best Recipe?
