All the spare parts must be requested to Brusaferri & C. that will supply them directly or will give you indications on the
place where they can be found. Please note that any extraordinary maintenance must be performed by personnel of
Brusaferri & C. or authorized by it.
WARNING!
• Be careful not to spray liquids on the electrical equipments, pedal/push-button strip and on the
protections of the chair.
• You must follow the handling directions given in the safety data sheets of the detergents used.
• While during the cleaning operation of the chair, inhaling powders are produced, use a proper
protective device and air adequately the room.
• Use proper individual protection devices
WARNING! Any form of warranty expires if they are used spare parts other than those originally fitted.
10. NOTICE TO OPERATORS AND RESIDUAL RISKS
11. SPARE PARTS
During the chair adjustment some potential crushing zones can raise:
a) Between the lower part of the seat and the lifting arm;
b) Between the leg rest upholstery and the lifting arm;
c) Between the lifting arm and the base
Do not remove protections in any case; do not use the chair if the protections are damaged or not correctly fixed.
Do not put limbs near to the moving parts of the chair, in particular, avoid putting them near to the above-men
-
tioned points and to the yellow marked point on the chair.
If the chair becomes inoperative or is not to be used for an extended period of time, it is recommended to
remove it from service and remove the plug from the socket. All materials used to manufacture the chair are
not toxic or hazardous to the health of operators, so they can be handled without special precautions. In
case of disable of the chair you should perform a separation of different materials for subsequent reuse or differentia

ted elimination. All electrical and electronic products should be separately disposed, using specific collection facilities
appointed by the Government or the Local Authorities.
12. DISMANTLE
The correct disposal of the obsolete equipment will help to prevent potential negative effects on human
health and the environment. For information, contact your Local Council or the Waste Disposal Service.
13. DISPOSAL OF OBSOLETE EQUIPMENT
- The dismantling of the chair at the end of its functional life must be done by qualified personnel
trained about the correct way of handling – and if necessary of dismantling the chair.
- Use only suitable equipment and lift appliances in accordance with the National Regulations and
Legislative Law in force.
- Having to dismantle the chair or to move it in another place, please contact the manufacturer Brusaferri & C – Italy.
Clean the chair before each use, paying particular attention to remove all traces of physiological fluids of the
previous patient. To clean the chair use a cloth and lukewarm water (if necessary diluted neutral detergent).
If necessary, use a non-aggressive disinfectant, then wipe off with a clean dry cloth.
Do not use products such as alcohol, acetone, bleach, paint thinner, gasoline.
