Preparing for Storage

•

Park machine on level ground, fully lower cutter bars to ground, and block wheels. If possible, store machine in a dry,
protected place. If stored outside, cover with weatherproof material.

•

Clean off foreign material using compressed air, then wash the machine. Repaint bare metal to inhibit rust.

NOTICE:

Do not use a high-pressure washer.

•

Repair or replace any worn or broken parts or damaged safety signs or decals.

•

Relieve pressure from hydraulic system as described on

page 20-1

•

Lubricate all grease points on the machine.

•

Coat exposed hydraulic cylinder rods with grease to prevent rusting.

Removing from Storage

•

Refer to “Pre-Season Inspection,”
