Quick Launch Buttons
The quick-launch buttons enable the user to easily do the most common
tasks on the milking robot. The quick-launch buttons are:
Button Description
In/out operation
This button puts the milking robot in operation.
It then changes to 'out of operation'. When this button is
pushed, the robot completes the current cleaning or milking
process then closes the gates to stop entry of a cow.
Scheduled cleanings are also paused.
Extra feed
This button is normally used during first milking to give the
cow extra food. Extra food is delivered every 20 s. The extra
feeding stops after 20 min or if the operator pushes the
button again.
Change of milk filter
This button guides the operator through the procedure to
change the milk filter.
Viewing dialog of M4Use
When this button is pushed the current status of the M4Use
buckets is shown. The operator can change the status of the
buckets when they are empty.
Reset alarm
This button disables the buzzer that sounds when an alarm
occurs. The alarms continue to appear as pop-up windows
and must be confirmed by the operator. If the operator does
not confirm the alarms the buzzer is automatically enabled
again.
X-Link cleaning
This button disables the touchscreen on the X-Link for
cleaning.
Safety lock
This button enables the user to protect the user interface
with a password.
Waiting room timer
This button enables the user to open or close the gates of 1
to 3 waiting rooms, when using automatic fences.
A counter can be set to open the gates when a set number
of cows has left the waiting room.
It is also possible to postpone rinsing after milk separation.
