Backlight (Lamp): Menu 08 

You can set backlight behavior through Menu 08. Select 
from the following settings: 
OFF: Backlight is disabled 
KEY: Backlight is active only when a key is pressed. 
CONT: Backlight is always enabled.   
The default setting is CONT.   

Key Lock Function (LOCK): Menu 09   

You may lock the transceiver controls by holding the 
“MENU” key for two seconds. When the lock is enabled, 
the

symbol appears. Unlock the transceiver controls by 

again holding the “M” key for two seconds. 
You can select what controls are locked through Menu 09 
as follows: 
KEY: Numeric and function keys on the keypad of the 
transceiver, excluding the “MENU” key.
