Replacing the welding shoe
• Removal
– Switch off the device while warm and disconnect it from the mains.
– Remove the
welding shoe (8) by unfastening the clamping screws (18 ) from the extruder nozzle (17) .
– Every time the welding shoe is changed, clean the extruder nozzle
(17) of welding residue and make sure that it is screwed in tightly.
• Fitting
– Place a welding shoe (8) , adapted to the welding seam, onto the
extruder nozzle (17) and tighten the clamping screws (18 ) to
secure it in place.

Replacing the pre-heating nozzle
• Removal
– Loosen the clamping screw (19) on the pre-heating nozzle (9) and
remove the pre-heating nozzle (9) from the hot air duct (16) .
• Fitting
– Place the pre-heating nozzle (9) onto the hot air duct (16) .
Make sure that it is parallel to the welding shoe (8) .
– Tighten the clamping screw (19) .

Replacing the hot air duct
• Removal
– Loosen the clamping screw (33) . The hot air duct (16) can now be removed or
rotated in the required welding direction.
– Fit the appropriate hot air duct (16) (see "Welding direction" chapter).
– Tighten the clamping screw (33) .
