Caution!
The electrical components are not protected against water and liquid solutions. Water can cause electric
shock.
It is not allowed to keep PAULA placed inside a cell culture incubator while running a sterilization procedure.
Electrical components must be assembled at least 10 cm from the wall and away from flammable substances.
The PAULA device comes standard with a NUC with a W-LAN module integrated by the PC manufacturer.
Please note the documentation supplied with the NUC (technical data, safety information, regulatory informa-
tion, Quick Guide, etc.)

Caution!
Do not use the device in altitudes exceeding 2000 m ASL/NL.Transport and storage in a range of -10°–70°C and
at a humidity not exceeding 80% (non-condensing). Make sure that a free air circulation.
WARNING
By definition, the main circuit breaker of this instrument is the connection between the power supply and the
socket. The user must ensure unobstructed access to the main circuit breaker at all times.
Caution!
Do not use this instrument near sources of high electromagnetic radiation (for example, unshielded, intention-
ally operated ultra-high frequency sources), because these can disrupt proper operation.
We recommend assessing the electromagnetic environment before operation of this instrument and then giv-
ing corresponding instructions.
This instrument has been developed and tested in accordance with CISPR 11 Class B
Caution!
Fully equipped, PAULA ( digital imager without NUC PC) weighs more than 6.5 kg. For placing the imager inside
the incubator the user has to make sure that the shelves are capable of holding this weight.
