Window Search and
Section Search
The only difference between
Section search
and
Window search
is that with
Section
search
a minimum and maximum distance can be set.
With the horizontal angle set, the TPS will only perform a search within these defined bound-
aries. A vertical boundary for the TPS can also be set by using the vertical TPS widget (refer
to "5.4 Vertical TPS Widget").
Below, instruction is given for Section Search.
The search is performed in the yellow area between the blue and green lines.
CubeSearch
This search method will find prisms within a cube with dimensions of 20 m x 20 m x 20 m
centred over the selected location or last known prism position.
1. Select
Section search
from the drop down list,
and tap
.
2. Set a horizontal boundary by dragging the green
and blue half circle to cover desired area.
3. Set a minimum and maximum distance by drag-
ging the yellow pointers.
4. Tap
button to start the search.

CubeSearch
from the drop down list.
2. Press
and tap on the map where the cube
search shall be performed.
OR
3. Tap
button to start the search at the last
known prism position.
