Search Methods

Description

For search and locking a moving prism, different search methods are available depending on 
TPS model. In the table below an overview of supported search methods for different Leica 
TPS is listed. For more technical information on search methods, refer to the documentation 
for each sensor.

Supported search 
methods

PowerSearch

The TPS rotates around its horizontal axis until the sensor finds a prism, then the TPS stops 
rotating and a vertical scan is performed.
