9.11 Pedestal valve housing
Components inside the pedestal valve box:
1. Drive valves
2. Platform boom control valve solenoid K98
3. Lower controls boom solenoid K99
All boom cylinders (except master levelling cylinder)
are equipped with load control valves (1) which
prevent boom movements in case e.g. a hydraulic
hose fails.
When using electric emergency lowering (see 6.2)
(option) of the booms, the electric solenoid (2) valve
in the cylinder opens and oil flows through the
adjustable restrictor valve into the tank allowing the
booms to lower.
