Control of electric heating
The heating control function is used to control the
convectors in a house via a heating management
unit and CAD mains-borne signalling products.
The convectors are controlled by a CAD receptor or
by the Legrand CAD heating management unit.
Installation
The “Control of heating” commands are transmitted
via outputs or via the remote control link.

- CAD :
Each CAD product is coded with a group number
and a channel number.
On/Off mode: the On/Off orders are transmitted to
the CAD receptor which command the convectors.
Manager mode: The Omizzy™ server heating
commands are transmitted to the management unit
which passes them on to the convectors

Important :
Do not connect the outputs directly to the mains supply.
A power interface (contactor) must be used.

Caution :
The zones must not be configured on the Omizzy™ server
until the heating management unit teach procedure has
been completed.
Configuring the Omizzy™ server
Click on “Installation”, “Heating”.
Click on “Add” to add and configure a new zone
(maximum two zones in manager mode).
Click on an existing zone to change its parameters.
To realise the On/Off command, fill in the fields
according to the type of product: CAD or OUT.
To realise the Manager command, there are two
possible methods for entering parameters:
Méthod 1 :
(This method is used for entering parameters remotely)
Give the heating a name.
Choose the zone and click on “Confirm”.
The group number will be filled in automatically
when the first heating command is sent from the server
to the management unit.
